Terms of Service

The terms for this personal deployment of Hermes.

Hermes is operated by Anton Ivaan. Contact: from.siberi@gmail.com. These terms describe this deployment, not all installations of the open-source Hermes Agent framework.

1. Personal service and access

Hermes is a private AI assistant for its operator. It is not currently offered as a public multi-user service. This website provides information and legal notices only; it does not create an account or connect a visitor’s Google account. Publication of these pages does not grant anyone access to the private assistant.

The assistant can help with calendar management, email and documents. Features depend on the enabled integrations, the permissions granted by the account owner and the availability of third-party services.

2. Google permissions and task instructions

Google access requires authorisation through Google OAuth. Only connect accounts and data that you are entitled to use. Keep account credentials private and never send passwords, access tokens or verification codes in ordinary messages.

Technical OAuth permission is not blanket approval for all possible actions. Hermes must act within the account owner’s instructions. Sending email or invitations, sharing files, deleting records or making other consequential changes requires the owner’s instruction for that action. Review recipients, dates, time zones, document destinations and other consequential details.

Do not use the assistant to access another person’s account without authority, send spam, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or breach applicable law or the terms of connected services.

3. Privacy and third-party services

The Privacy Policy explains Google data access, AI processing, transfers, storage, retention, revocation and deletion. Relevant content may be processed by the configured AI inference provider and the assistant’s hosting infrastructure to fulfil requested tasks.

Google, the AI inference provider, the hosting provider and any destination services have their own applicable terms. This deployment does not represent or claim endorsement by Google, OpenAI or Nous Research. The underlying Hermes Agent framework remains subject to its own licence.

4. AI and service limitations

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Verify important results before relying on them, particularly messages, meeting details, document edits and any financial, medical or legal content. Hermes is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.

The assistant is provided on an “as available” basis. Integrations may fail, permissions may expire or be revoked, and third-party APIs or service terms may change. No guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, successful Google verification or any particular outcome is made.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator does not provide implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect losses caused by reliance on assistant output or third-party outages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Ending or suspending access

The account owner can revoke Hermes’ Google access at Google Account → Third-party connections. The operator may disable integrations or stop this personal deployment. Revocation prevents future authorised access but does not by itself delete retained history or undo actions already performed.

For deletion of retained data, contact from.siberi@gmail.com and follow the process described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Changes and questions

If the service, its audience or material practices change, these terms will be updated and any additional agreement required for a new use will be obtained before that use begins. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
